About Us:

The Commonwealth Dance Academy offers a complete curriculum ranging from pre-school to professional courses. The entire staff is dedicated to helping each child develop a love of  dance.  Students are encouraged to achieve their highest potential  through individualized instructions by qualified teachers.

Bettijane Grey- Robinson, the director, graduated with High Honors from Northeastern University, College of Education, and holds a BS and Masters of Arts degree. She is past President of Dance Masters of America, and Dance Teachers Club of Boston as well as a member of Dance Educators of America.

She has taught Master Classes for the major dance organizations, and has been a faculty member for the Dance Teacher National Convention. She is proud of her many students who have pursued careers in dance, either as a professional performer or as teachers.

Our school year extends from September through May. Classes are conveniently scheduled during afternoons, evenings and on Saturdays.
